About

P1020525I grew up in Northern Minnesota. Raised on hotdishes, bars, pickled herring and potica (pronounced po-teet-sah). I spent a good portion of my childhood at my grandmother's house on Coffey Lane. She taught me how to sew, knit and cook a killer spaghetti and rice pudding in her kitchen. This eventually led me to a career as an Apparel Technical Designer (check it) in the fashion industry and a closet foodie/cook.

After moving around the country (i.e. Chicago, Portland, Seattle and Los Angeles) I have landed in Madison, WI with my boyfriend, K, and our little russian blue kitty, Emma Lou.

I have no qualms about admitting I have no professional training in either culinary arts or photography. I do however love to eat, cook, create and share all of my work. My hope is that you, my reader, will enjoy sharing all of this with me.

Please keep in mind that all content, including text and photography, are copyright of Coffey Lane. I wouldn't, by any stretch of the imagination, think that my work on Coffey Lane is worth a darn outside of my little space. I only request that, if by some chance you would like to use any of it on your website, you ask for permission before "sharing".

If you would like to contact me with questions, comments or just pop in and say, "Hi", you can do that by shooting me an email at prosnicke@gmail.com
